Wrapping around a large native live oak, the mid-century ranch house overlooks the idyllic hillside property below. Staying true to its mid century roots, the whole house was remodeled and a substantial addition was made to expand upon the central core. Adding space, light, and volume, a gabled transept slices through the existing roof to open it up to the outdoors and views.
The remodel of the interior spaces enhance the sense of spaciousness and continuity with the outdoors. The house incorporates extensive floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize connection to the surrounding landscape. These large windows, along with numerous skylights, flood the interior with abundant natural light, creating a bright and open atmosphere. Multiple outdoor patios and decks, strategically positioned, are perfect for outdoor living and enjoyment of the park-like setting.
