An incredible home in Los Altos that perfectly blends elegant design with playful elements. The kitchen was carefully thought-out to achieve the vision of the client. It features an expansive island with large marble slabs that run along all the countertops and backsplash. The needs of the clients were carefully considered to maximize the functionality of the space, one element that was added was a fully hidden coffee bar. Maintaining the sleek look of the space while still allowing for practical uses.
Traditional elements, such as the beautifully crafted wooden jhula (swing) elegantly mounted from the ceiling, mixes with modern details such as the sleek metal railing to create a unique and deeply personal home. In the primary bath, traditional elements that have become modern again, such as tadelakt plaster, an ancient, waterproof lime-based wall finish from Morocco, envelopes the curbless open shower and sculptural tub.
The basement is thoughtfully designed to enhance the overall floor plan. As you descend the stairs, you encounter a striking black and white doodle mural that captures the playful spirit of the area. It features a stylish bar, perfect for entertaining guests, along with an additional family room that is ideal for both relaxation and lively gatherings.
The landscapes were meticulously designed to enhance the beauty of the home. The backyard showcases a large pergola, thoughtfully equipped for entertaining with a grill and outdoor kitchen setup. Additionally, it features a jacuzzi and generous space for relaxation, creating an ideal outdoor retreat for both leisure and social gatherings.
